I met Dr. Tammy when I was at a crossroad in my career in October 2021, after COVID had changed a lot of things. I knew I was meant to move on to something else but wasn't sure exactly how to get there. Apart from Dr. Tammy being a coach and mentor, her life looked exactly like what I was aspiring to be, so I followed more closely, gleaned from her, and set up an initial meeting with her.
Fast-forward to February 2022: Through Dr. Tammy’s coaching, I was already in a place I wanted to be—in a senior leadership role that would have taken me at least four years to get into. I was grateful for the opportunity but nervous about how I would perform (Impostor syndrome). Dr. Tammy gave me the extra boost of confidence I needed.
Dr. Tammy's guidance and leadership continue to guide me in my leadership journey. It was fascinating to learn that she also co-authored a book about successful executives--with some other amazing senior leaders and executives, like herself, featured in the book.
One of her superpowers is knowing exactly what to say at every given time, and I would credit that to the Holy Spirit that she leverages.

I had the privilege of first meeting Dr. Tammy over 25 years ago.
When I made the decision to go back to school and enter the education field, she became my mentor and boss. She was a constant source of inspiration and encouragement for me during this time of working, going back to school, and family life. I learned so much from her wisdom and am grateful for her willingness to pour into me when she became my boss/supervisor.
Dr. Mason is a phenomenal speaker as well. We later connected through the Women's Ministry group (Women of Destiny) which she founded and was leading on campus at Emmanuel University. Dr. Tammy is a mentor and leadership coach who leads with kindness, but she is also tough as nails. She won’t ever let you quit; so, don’t even think about it! She has the unique ability to bring out the best in you, even when you cannot see it yourself.
When everyone else had given up on me becoming a medical doctor again in the U.S. (after moving here from my home country), Dr. Tammy was the ONLY one who kept believing in me, pushing me, training me, and praying for and over me. I wanted to quit so many times. It was the most difficult season of my life.
After a health scare, I moved back home for a while. But even though I was thousands and thousands of miles away, Dr. Tammy never left me alone, never stopped checking on me, and never stopped encouraging me and helping me realize how great I really am.
When I returned back to the U.S. and finally passed all of the required exams for my medical license (after several failed attempts), she was expecting me to pass all along. Upon securing the position as a hospital physician, she was among the first individuals I contacted to express my gratitude.
I am forever grateful for all she has done for me and helped me accomplish. Dr. Tammy is more than a wonderful leader, coach, and mentor. She is a true friend – full of faith, love, wisdom, and compassion.

I have known Dr. Tammy Mason since the Fall of 2014 when she was a School Principal. I worked under her direct supervision for two years. Since then, we have continued to be colleagues and friends. I still get random check-ins and encouraging texts from Dr. Mason. I believe that illustrates Dr. Mason’s caring personality and leadership style.
Dr. Mason was the most structured and organized principal that I have ever worked under. She consistently had high expectations for all teachers, students, and staff. Furthermore, those expectations were clearly communicated to all parties. Simply put, she expected my best each day that I walked through the door. Dr. Mason did not require the best out of us for any selfish desires. She wanted our best because she wanted to see everyone grow and improve.
I am currently the head football coach at Coahulla Creek High School in Whitfield County, Georgia. No doubt, the mentorship of Dr. Mason has helped to put me in the position that I am. My job requires me to have high expectations, and be able to communicate those
expectations clearly.
I often reflect on the lessons learned from my time with Dr. Mason when I see glimmers of greatness or improvements with my student athletes. I know that her example has made a lasting impact that I am trying to emulate with my student athletes.
